Overnight Shooting in Pittsburgh Sends One Man to Hospital

PITTSBURGH, PA – An investigation is underway following a shooting incident in Pittsburgh’s Troy Hill neighborhood that happened on Wednesday. Pittsburgh police officers were dispatched to Hatteras Street at approximately 12:15 a.m.

They located a man with a gunshot wound to the leg. Officers applied a tourniquet to mitigate the bleeding until paramedics arrived to transport the victim to a local hospital.

The victim is in stable condition, according to public safety officials. Pittsburgh police detectives are spearheading the ongoing investigation.
