McKEESPORT, PA – On last Wednesday at 1:16 am, the McKeesport Police and paramedics were dispatched to the 2600 Block of Jenny Lind Street following reports of a vehicle colliding with three pedestrians. Upon their arrival, they found a 39-year-old female had been hit.

She was rushed to an area hospital, where she was later pronounced deceased.

The County Police Homicide and Reconstruction Unit was called in by the McKeesport Police to help with the investigation. Following inquiries, it was established that the suspect, 31-year-old Brandon Pendleton, had purposefully hit the victim with his vehicle after an argument.

Pendleton is now facing charges of criminal homicide, aggravated assault, terroristic threats, and attempted homicide.

He is being held at the Allegheny County Jail as he awaits arraignment.
