Triple shooting in Elizabeth leaves one dead, toddler shot

ELIZABETH, NJ – on Tuesday evening at around 8:30 p.m., Elizabeth Police Department officers were dispatched to Salem Avenue’s 600 block following reports of a shooting.

Upon arrival, they found three victims in a vehicle: a 23-year-old female, a 3-year-old female, and a 28-year-old male, Guerley Edouard, of Roselle.

Edouard was rushed to Trinitas Hospital but was later pronounced dead. The two female victims were stabilized at University Hospital.

The Union County Prosecutor’s Office Homicide Task Force, in collaboration with Elizabeth Police Department, has an active investigation into the incident. Individuals with any information are asked to contact Detective Patrick Bradley at 908-418-2817.
