Baltimore Shooting Leaves 59-Year-Old Man Injured

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place yesterday in Northwest Baltimore. Police received a report of a shooting at the intersection of Homer Avenue and Wylie Avenue shortly after 4 pm.

Officers who arrived at the scene observed a 59-year-old male who had sustained a gunshot wound to his leg, which was determined to be non-life-threatening. The officers applied a tourniquet to the victim’s leg as they awaited the arrival of medics. The medics then transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he is now undergoing treatment for the injury to his leg.

An initial Investigation revealed the 4500 block of Homer Avenue was where the victim was shot.
