E-Bike rider robbed at gunpoint, Suspect identified

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking assistance from the public in identifying two individuals involved in a robbery that took place recently.

On Wednesday, May 24, at approximately 9:45 pm, two unidentified persons approached a 44-year-old E-Bike rider near 1982 Westchester Avenue.

One of the suspects brandished a firearm at the victim, while the second suspect forcibly removed the victim from his E-Bike.

The suspects took money and a work card from the victim’s pockets before fleeing the scene. One suspect made away with the victim’s E-Bike, while the other fled on foot, both in the direction of East on Westchester Avenue. The victim was unharmed in the incident.
