WILDWOOD CREST, NJ – On last Friday, around 5:22 am, Wildwood Crest Police Department was alerted to a possible motor vehicle burglary in the vicinity of Monterey and Pacific Avenues. Responding officers P.O. Jacob Robb, Cpl. Dominic Travascio, and Sgt. Matthew Webb encountered three juvenile males aged 15 from Millville, NJ, attempting to escape the scene. Following a brief chase, all three were apprehended and taken into custody.

Investigation uncovered evidence linking the juveniles to a string of vehicular burglaries. Their stolen getaway vehicle was found with signs of forced entry and tampering, similar to three additional vehicles in the vicinity of their arrest. Each of the juveniles was charged with burglary, theft, receiving stolen property, conspiracy, resisting arrest, and criminal mischief, in line with New Jersey Attorney General’s Juvenile Justice Reform Guidelines.

The Wildwood Crest Police Department has requested the public to maintain vehicle security and report any suspicious activities.
