COLUMBUS, OH – On Tuesday, the Homicide Unit of the Columbus Police Department released photos of a man suspected in the fatal shooting of a 55-year-old store clerk, Vijayakumar Nair.
Columbus Police officers arrived at the scene located on the 1400 block of S. Hamilton Rd., responding to a shooting report. The victim, found with gunshot wounds, was taken to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The suspect was seen departing the vicinity in a maroon sedan, featuring a temporary tag Q739484 displayed in the upper left back window of the vehicle, immediately following the shooting. The Homicide Unit asked anyone with relevant information to step forward.
