Utica, NY – Detectives investigating a double shooting at a house party in Utica are running into problems today as they are getting little cooperation in the investigation with witnesses and victims.
In the early hours of Sunday morning at approximately 12:53 am, Utica Police responded to a report at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital regarding a patient who had walked into the emergency room with a gunshot wound to his back.
Shortly after, a second patient arrived at the same emergency room with a grazing gunshot wound to his arm.
Both victims, teenagers, displayed a lack of cooperation with law enforcement officials.
Subsequently, it was discovered that the shootings had taken place outside a house party located at 1656 Elm Street. Despite efforts to locate potential witnesses, all individuals approached proved uncooperative, refusing to provide any information regarding the incidents.
The victim, aged 17, who sustained a gunshot wound to his back, is currently in critical condition.
