ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – The Atlantic City Police Department reported the arrests of three juvenile males in relation to a string of car burglaries and vandalism incidents.

On July 14, at around 9:20 PM, Detectives Dodson, Valles, Evans, and Grams stopped a group of males in the area of Connecticut and Wabash Avenues.

These arrests were connected to a series of car burglaries on July 13, in the parking garage of Bally’s Atlantic City. Three Kia vehicles were burglarized and vandalized, and the suspects attempted to steal the vehicles, damaging their steering columns.

Upon stopping the group, two males were identified and arrested for their involvement in the burglaries. Another male, who was in possession of stolen credit cards, was later charged. The Atlantic City Police Department continues to provide free steering wheel locks to Hyundai and Kia owners in an effort to deter theft.

The individuals, all 14-year-old males from Atlantic City, face charges for burglary, criminal mischief, possession of burglar tools, and receiving stolen property. They were released into the custody of their parents with a future court date pending.
