Bicyclist Dies in Upper Marlboro Crash

UPPER MARLBORO, MD – A fatal accident involving a bicyclist occurred in the unincorporated region of Upper Marlboro. The Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit identified the deceased as 43-year-old Gregory McCullom.

The incident happened on Sunday, at about 7:50 pm. Officers were dispatched to the area of Williams Beanes Road and Federal Court.

Preliminary investigations reveal the driver involved was heading southbound on Williams Beanes Road, the same direction as McCullom, who was riding his bicycle when the collision occurred. McCullom was declared dead at the scene.

The incident is currently under further investigation by the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit. The team is seeking the public’s assistance in gathering more information about the circumstances leading to this fatal collision. Information can be reported to the Unit at 301-731-4422.
