Child Endangerment Charges Lodged Against Lower Windsor Woman

LOWER WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, PA – Tonya M. Howarth, a 35-year-old resident of Windsor, was charged last Thursday, July 20, with Endangering the Welfare of Children. The incident occurred in the 300 block of Graham Lane, according to the Lower Windsor Township Police Department.

The responding officers from the Lower Windsor Township Police Department transported Howarth to Central Booking following an initial investigation of the incident. The charges led to her arraignment, with a preliminary hearing set to be scheduled at MDJ 19-3-01 Judge Fishel’s Office.

The specific details of the case and the nature of the endangerment to children are currently withheld. However, under Pennsylvania’s Title 18 4304 A1 legislation, the act of endangering the welfare of children by a parent or guardian is considered a felony of the third degree.

The Lower Windsor Township Police Department is urging anyone with relevant information to this case to contact their office.
