BRADFORD, PA – The City of Bradford Police Department announced on Tuesday that Joseph J. Green was arraigned on felony statutory rape charges.

The charges were brought against Green, following an investigation into allegations that he had engaged in a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl, who was found to be pregnant.

The investigation began on September 14, 2022. With the birth of the baby on April 25, police were able to determine that Green was involved in the alleged sexual relationship. Green was subsequently arraigned at Magistrate Cercone’s Office.

Green, now held on bail set at $3,000, faces charges of Statutory Sexual Assault. The arrest took place at 37 Jackson Avenue, Bradford.

The Bradford Police Department has called on anyone with further information about this case to come forward. Preliminary hearings are scheduled to take place on August 3.
