Teens Charged for Burglarizing Cars

ARNOLD, MD – Detectives in the Eastern District successfully apprehended one suspect involved in a vehicle tampering case on Friday.

The incident occurred around 4:50 a.m. on Broadwater Road in Arnold, where an alarm from a 2009 Volkswagen Jetta alerted the officers.

Upon hearing the alarm, detectives observed two individuals attempting to gain unauthorized entry into the vehicle.

As the officers approached, both suspects attempted to flee the scene. One, a 15-year-old female from Arnold, was caught and is now facing charges.

The second suspect, a 16-year-old male from Annapolis, has been identified, and charges against him are pending. The Eastern District Police Department has requested that anyone with additional information related to the case come forward.
