Feds Arrest Fugitive Wanted for Murder of Scranton Woman

SCRANTON, PA – Bernard L. Alexander was arrested on Friday by the United States Marshalls Service in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

His arrest is in connection to the homicide of Philomen L. Henry. Ms. Henry was shot and killed on Monday, May 22, at 953 Crane.

Since the incident, an active investigation has been underway by the detective division.

Mr. Alexander is currently detained in Pennsylvania, awaiting extradition.

Details on the criminal charges will be disclosed once he is extradited and has appeared in a New York State court.
