North Plainfield Police Seek Suspect in Series of Window Smashings

NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – The North Plainfield Police Department is actively investigating a string of window smashings that have targeted vehicles and buildings around town.

Surveillance footage captured an individual throwing rocks at a North Plainfield High School window on August 18, at 1:30 AM. The same individual is also a suspect in another incident involving a broken car window on Wilson Avenue during the same timeframe.

The released video shows the suspect’s deliberate acts, giving a clear view of the individual in question. Authorities are urging residents and anyone who may have information related to the suspect or the incidents to come forward.
