Male Victim Killed in Allentown Hit and Run

ALLENTOWN, PA – On Thursday, August 17, at about 11:05 P.M., officers from the Allentown Police Department were dispatched following a report of a man down at the intersection of Elliger and Tilghman St.

The responding officers discovered an injured adult male in the roadway.

It was ascertained that the male victim had been hit by a vehicle, which had fled the scene before the police’s arrival.

The injured individual was rushed to the hospital but did not survive.

The Allentown Police Department asked any witnesses or those with pertinent information to contact the Allentown Police Criminal Investigation division at 610-437-7721 or use the Allentown Police Tip411 app for anonymous reporting.
