Arrest Made in Connection to Upper Marlboro Murder

UPPER MARLBORO, MD – The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit has charged 57-year-old Boisey Neal of Glen Burnie in connection with the murder of 59-year-old Shawn Eric Hall of Hagerstown.

Neal was arrested on Wednesday; the same day skeletal remains were found in the 13300 block of Old Marlboro Pike. These remains are believed to be Hall’s.

The Hagerstown Police Department had initially requested assistance from PGPD in locating Hall, who had been reported missing. He was last believed to have traveled to Upper Marlboro. An autopsy is pending to confirm the identity of the remains and the cause of death.

Neal is currently facing charges of first and second-degree murder and is in the custody of the Department of Corrections on a no-bond status. The motive remains under investigation.
