Victim Threatened With Icepick as Mob of Five Robbed Fanny Pack

Bronx, NY – The New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s help in identifying five male individuals connected to a robbery that took place on Wednesday in the Bronx.

According to police, the incident occurred at approximately 1:20 a.m. when two male victims, aged 31 and 29, were walking near White Plains Road and Rhinelander Avenue.

They were approached by five unknown males, two of whom brandished a knife and an icepick and demanded property.

One of the suspects forcibly removed a fanny pack containing $500 from the 31-year-old victim. The suspects then fled southbound on White Plains Road. No injuries were reported.
