Mob Robs Man at Gunpoint Inside NYC Subway Station

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying six individuals connected to a robbery on a southbound “5” train near Utica Avenue and Eastern Parkway.

The incident occurred last Thursday at approximately 9:03 a.m. The 25-year-old male victim was approached by the group, who proceeded to assault him and forcibly take his Android cellphone.

The suspects are described as five males and one female, aged between 15 and 30, with medium to dark complexions. One male suspect displayed a silver revolver during the robbery. The group fled on foot towards Schenectady Avenue and Eastern Parkway. The victim sustained facial cuts and bruising but declined medical attention at the scene.

Individual descriptions have been released, ranging from a male in a light blue hoodie and tan shorts to a female in a blue hoodie with the word “STICH” on the front. All suspects were carrying black book bags.

The New York City Police Department is actively investigating this case. Anyone with information is asked to contact the relevant unit at the department.
