NYPD Seeking Suspect in Multiple Subway Groping Incidents

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating an individual connected to two forcible touching incidents.

The first incident occurred on Wednesday, July 19, at around 4:30 pm in the Avenue of the Americas and West 23 Street subway station. The second incident took place on Wednesday, August 23, at around 10:15 pm in the 8th Avenue and West 23 Street subway station.

In both incidents, the victims were females in their mid-20s. The suspect touched the victims’ buttocks before fleeing the scene. No injuries were reported in either case.

The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, approximately 35 to 40 years old, with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, blue jeans, brown boots, and carrying a multi-color book bag.

The New York City Police Department is actively investigating these incidents and asked anyone with information to come forward.
