76-Year-Old Man Smashed with Rock in Broad Daylight in Queens

NEW YORK CITY, NY – On Monday, at approximately 9:45 am, an assault occurred in front of 104-27 37 Drive in Queens.

An unidentified male approached a 76-year-old man and struck him in the head with a rock. The assailant fled on foot.

The victim was transported by EMS to Elmhurst General Hospital and is in stable condition.

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the individual responsible for the assault.
