NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s help in identifying an individual involved in an assault.
The incident took place on Wednesday, August 23, at approximately 10:41 p.m. in front of 1006 East Tremont Avenue.
A 24-year-old male reported that an unidentified man approached him and discharged a firearm, striking him once in the left leg. The assailant then fled the scene.
The individual is described as a male with a dark complexion, medium build, and approximately 30 to 35 years of age. He was last seen wearing a red hooded sweater, blue jeans, and white sneakers.
The New York City Police Department is investigating the assault. Anyone with information is asked to contact the department.
