NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying an individual involved in a robbery that occurred last Wednesday.
At approximately 11:50 am, a 79-year-old female was in her residence near 77 Street and 21 Avenue when an unidentified male entered through an open window and began rummaging through her property.
When confronted by the victim, the individual displayed a pair of scissors and threatened her. He took approximately $40 from her pocketbook and fled the scene on a black scooter.
The victim was not injured. The suspect is described as a male with a light complexion and slim build, approximately 30 years old and 6′ tall. He was last seen wearing a black helmet, a black hooded sweatshirt, black shorts, and black sneakers with white soles.
