JAMAICA, NY – A 24-year-old man was shot multiple times on Sunday around 9:58 a.m. at 147 Place and Archer Avenue in Jamaica, Queens.
NYPD Officers arrived at the scene and found the man with gunshot wounds to his chest, left leg, and right leg.
He was transported to Jamaica Hospital, where doctors anticipate his recovery.
Detectives from the NYPD secured the area and began their investigation, finding eight shell casings at the scene.
The search is on for two suspects who were seen fleeing the scene on foot.
