Clerk Beaten Over A Few Packs of Cigarettes in Brooklyn Robbery

BROOKLYN, MD – Early Monday morning, at around 3:29 a.m., a robbery was reported at a commercial establishment on the 5600 block of Ritchie Highway.

The store clerk informed officers that a male suspect had assaulted him and subsequently stole several packs of cigarettes.

The suspect fled on foot, evading the officers who searched the vicinity.

The suspect is described as a tall black male with a thin build, seen wearing a black hooded jacket and dark blue pants.

Northern District detectives are actively investigating and request the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
