Teen Dead in Broad Daylight Shooting in Paterson

PATERSON, NJ – On Sunday, at roughly 12:28 p.m., Paterson Police Officers responded to a reported shooting at Highland Street and Park Place.

On arrival, two victims were found. A 19-year-old male from Paterson succumbed to his injuries at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center.

Additionally, a 42-year-old woman from Paterson received non-life-threatening injuries and is being treated at the same hospital.

The investigation is ongoing.

Both the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office and the Paterson Police Detective Bureau ask anyone with information to come forward.
