New York City Police Investigating Attack Inside 72nd Street Train Station

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating two individuals connected to an assault that transpired at the Broadway and 72nd Street train station.

The incident took place on Saturday, around 2:30 am. A 32-year-old male victim was involved in a verbal dispute with two unidentified males while on a northbound ‘2’ train.

The altercation turned physical upon exiting the train, resulting in the victim being pushed onto the tracks and sustaining injuries.

He was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital in stable condition with a broken nose and right middle finger.

The first individual is described as a male with a medium complexion and build, seen wearing a red jacket and black pants. The second is also of medium build, last seen in all-black attire.
