QUEENS, NY – Destiny Lebron, 20, of North Portland Avenue in Brooklyn, has been sentenced to 13 years in prison for her role in a series of violent crimes including sex trafficking, assault, and robbery.

The charges stemmed from incidents where she and a male accomplice lured victims and then assaulted and robbed them.

The series of incidents began in February 2022 when Lebron contacted a female victim via Instagram. By July 2022, the victim found herself coerced into prostitution activities.

In a separate event on August 6, 2022, a male victim was attacked and robbed after responding to an ad. Another male victim faced a similar fate on August 14, 2022, after answering an ad featuring Lebron.

Lebron’s co-defendant, Gil Iphael, 23, of Copaigue Street in Valley Stream, remains awaiting trial. Justice Peter Vallone sentenced Lebron on Thursday and has also ordered her to undergo five years of post-release supervision.
