LEHIGH TOWNSHIP, PA – The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a shooting that transpired on Sunday on Buck Mountain Road.

According to PSP Hazleton, an argument between David Feliciano, 56, and a 25-year-old male regarding family issues took a violent turn.

With a revolver in hand, Feliciano fired a shot into the air before aiming at the younger man. In defense, the 25-year-old, a legal firearm owner, shot Feliciano in the arm.

After the incident, he promptly secured his family, left the vicinity, and contacted the troopers, safely handing over his firearm. Feliciano, who isn’t permitted to possess firearms legally, was transported to Lehigh Valley Hazleton and later to Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest for further medical attention.

He now faces multiple charges, including possession of a firearm unlawfully. However, PSP assures the public that this incident is isolated and poses no broader threat.
