Police Investigating Armed Robbery on 167th Street

NEW YORK CITY, NY – An armed robbery in the Bronx has led to an urgent request for witnesses by the New York City Police Department.

The incident occurred on Friday, October 20, at around 3:30 pm, when two assailants, one brandishing a firearm, robbed a 29-year-old individual at 221 East 167 Street.

The victim was robbed of a cellphone, wallet, and approximately $500 before the suspects fled on a black scooter.

There were no physical injuries reported.

The NYPD has issued media images of the suspects and asks anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
