Police Seek Woman Wanted for NYC Subway Hate Crime

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department’s Hate Crimes Unit is intensifying its search for a suspect involved in an assault on a 28-year-old female.

The attack, deemed a hate crime, occurred on Friday, October 20, at approximately 7:30 am on a Queens-bound “7” train at the 69th Street and Roosevelt Avenue Subway Station.

The suspect, without provocation, kicked the victim in the face and hurled racial slurs.

Described as a female with a dark complexion and wearing black spandex and a jacket, the assailant is approximately 5’ 7” tall and between 30-40 years old.

The victim suffered a concussion and bruising but declined medical treatment at the scene. Investigators have released media related to the suspect and asked the public to share any pertinent information.
