CHICORA, PA – Nurse Heather Pressdee, 41, has been hit with a wave of new criminal charges over allegations of poisoning patients with insulin at a healthcare facility. The Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General announced that Pressdee is now accused of intentionally administering excessive doses of insulin to 22 patients, resulting in multiple deaths.
Initially charged with the death of two patients and the attempted murder of a third, Pressdee is now facing additional scrutiny for the deaths of 17 other individuals under her care.
These incidents occurred between 2020 and May of this year at Quality Life Services in Chicora, as well as other facilities across the state.
Pennsylvania Attorney General Michelle Henry’s office issued a statement revealing the expanded scope of the charges following recent investigations.
It has been uncovered that while some of the victims required insulin for diabetes management, others were not diabetic, raising serious concerns about the motive and practices of the accused.
Pressdee’s case is undergoing a rigorous legal process as authorities continue to piece together the details of the alleged crimes.
