One Dead, Two Injured in Friday Night Shootings in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Philadelphia police are investigating a sequence of shootings that occurred Friday night into early Saturday, resulting in one fatality and two injuries.

The first event unfolded on N. Stanley Street at 10:23 p.m., where a 22-year-old was critically injured.

Following that, at 12:17 a.m., Vine Street became the scene of a homicide when a 26-year-old man succumbed to a fatal headshot.

The third incident at 3:17 a.m. on N. 2nd Street left a 21-year-old man in stable condition after multiple gunshot wounds.

The police have not made any arrests, and the search for suspects is ongoing. No weapons have been recovered. The department is asking for tips, which can be conveyed to 215-686-TIPS.
