NYPD Seeking Subway Phone Snatcher

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department requests public help regarding an attempted grand larceny at the Woodhaven Boulevard Subway Station on Wednesday.

Around 10:20 am, an unknown male attempted to steal a cellphone from a 35-year-old male victim but was unsuccessful.

The suspect, described as a male with medium complexion and around 5 feet 10 inches tall, fled to the R train. The NYPD asks anyone with information to contact the Crime Stoppers Hotline. The incident did not result in any injuries to the victim.
