St. Clair Man Charged After Shooting at Wife During Driveway Altercation

ST. CLAIR TOWNSHIP, PA – The Pennsylvania State Police, in collaboration with the Westmoreland County District Attorney’s Office, have charged Fauna and Justin McDowell following a domestic dispute and subsequent shooting on Sunday, in St. Clair Township.

Fauna McDowell faces attempted homicide, aggravated and simple assault, and recklessly endangering another person. Justin McDowell is charged with terroristic threats and simple assault.

According to the State Police, the altercation began when Justin McDowell went to retrieve tools and materials from their home on Pennsylvania Lane, believing no one was home.

The situation escalated when Fauna McDowell arrived, blocked his vehicle, and allegedly engaged in a physical altercation.

Justin McDowell reportedly pointed his gun at Fauna to escape the confrontation. Fauna then went inside the house and began shooting towards his truck, resulting in visible bullet holes. The police collected two spent 9mm casings near the front porch.
