Child, 3, Accidentally Shot in Richmond

RICHMOND, VA – A three-year-old boy was injured in an accidental shooting at the 1900 Block of Raven Street, Richmond, around 9:43 a.m.

Richmond Police Department officers, upon arrival, found the child suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was quickly transported to a local hospital, and his injury is now considered non-life-threatening. Detectives believe the child was accidentally injured while inside an apartment and are not actively seeking any suspects. However, the investigation is ongoing.
