Pedestrian Struck and Killed in Hanover

HANOVER TWP., PA – Hanover Township Police are currently investigating a fatal motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian.

The incident occurred late Friday night, around 11:20 PM on Front Street in the Upper Askam section of the township.

The pedestrian involved in the accident was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The identities of both the victim and the vehicle operator are being withheld pending family notification and completion of the ongoing investigation.

The Pennsylvania State Police, including the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Specialist (C.A.R.S.) and Forensic Services Unit (F.S.U), are assisting in the investigation.
