Fatal Shooting in Oxon Hill Under Investigation

OXON HILL, MD – The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is actively investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in Oxon Hill.

The incident, which took place on Friday, at around 5:10 pm, resulted in the death of 45-year-old Darnell Stanley from Temple Hills.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting on the 600 block of Audrey Lane. Upon arrival, they found Stanley outside with gunshot wounds and pronounced him dead at the scene.

Detectives are currently working to uncover the motive and identify any suspects involved in this crime.

The department has announced a reward of up to $25,000 for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in this case. Individuals with relevant information are asked to contact the Homicide Unit.
