NYC Police Seek Public’s Help to Identify Suspect in Downtown Stabbing Attack

NEW YORK CITY, NY — The New York City Police Department is requesting public assistance to identify a suspect involved in an assault that took place within the 6th Precinct. The incident occurred on Friday, November 3 at around 10:35 pm.

The assault happened near 14th Street and Broadway, where a 47-year-old male victim was approached and verbally confronted by an unidentified female individual. The altercation escalated when the suspect followed the victim and stabbed him in the lower back with an unknown object, causing a laceration. After the attack, the suspect fled on foot, heading southbound on Broadway.

The victim was transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Bellevue and is reported to be in stable condition.

The suspect is described as a female with a light complexion, approximately 5’2″ tall. She was last seen wearing a black coat, blue jeans, a multicolored hat, and black sneakers.
