Man Injured in Assault Near Queens Boulevard Station

QUEENS, NY – A 26-year-old man was assaulted in the early hours of Wednesday, October 11, near the Queens Boulevard and Union Turnpike station. At approximately 1:55 a.m., an unidentified assailant struck the victim on the head with a master lock, causing a laceration.

Following the attack, the perpetrator fled the scene on foot. The victim, who sustained injuries from the assault, was transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center by EMS and is reported to be in stable condition.

The suspect is described as a male with a light complexion, light beard, and thin build. He was last seen wearing glasses, a multi-colored jacket, black pants, and black sneakers. Police are seeking information from the public to help identify and apprehend the individual responsible for this violent incident.
