Coatesville Teen Arrested for March Shooting in Oxford

OXFORD, PA – Aigner Veronica Sellars, an 18-year-old from Coatesville, surrendered to the police on Tuesday, in connection with a shooting incident that occurred on March 23, in the 200 block of Maple Street. The Oxford Police Department (OPD), aided by Chester County Detectives, has been investigating the case.

According to the affidavit filed by Officer J. Williams and Detective J. Dibattista, Sellars and another female were involved in a verbal altercation at the victim’s residence on the day of the incident.

The argument escalated, leading to Sellars making threats and returning later with accomplices, shooting multiple rounds into the home and injuring an adult resident.

Sellars, who was a minor at the time of the incident, is being charged as an adult due to the severity of the crime. She was arraigned before Judge Massey, with bail set at $20,000, and is currently held at Chester County Prison awaiting a preliminary hearing. T
