Brooklyn Man Arrested for December 2022 Murder in Queens

NEW YORK, NY – Kenyon Nesbitt, a 44-year-old Brooklyn resident, was arrested on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at 3:00 PM, within the jurisdiction of the 103rd Precinct. The arrest is linked to an ongoing investigation into a homicide that occurred a year earlier.

Nesbitt, residing at 335 Sutter Avenue in Brooklyn, faces charges of murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

The arrest relates back to an incident on December 27, 2022, when police were called to the scene of a shooting at 146-48 Sutphin Boulevard in Queens. On arrival, officers found a 35-year-old male victim inside a Nissan Altima with a fatal gunshot wound to his head. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by EMS.
