100 Cats, 100 Birds Found in Frostproof Hoarding Case

POLK COUNTY, FL – Sheriff Grady Judd and the Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) Animal Cruelty Investigations Unit are investigating animal hoarding in Frostproof.

Preliminary reports indicate that approximately 100 cats and 100 chickens and ducks were found in a mobile home occupied by two women. The situation is being described as an animal hoarder case.

The PCSO plans to release more detailed information later today. The investigation is still in its early stages, and further updates are expected as more information becomes available.
