EASTON, MD – A Delaware mother won $100,000 from a $100,000 Crossword scratch-off ticket purchased at Royal Farms in Easton. Her win will support her return to college.

During a routine stop at Royal Farms #421 for fuel and snacks, the Sussex County resident, accompanied by her crossword-enthusiast son, decided to buy two $10 scratch-offs. The second ticket revealed the top prize.

She played the scratch-offs before her two-hour drive back to Delaware. The first ticket was not a winner, but the second one confirmed a $100,000 win. The realization brought her to tears of joy.

This significant win, which she describes as “a blessing,” will fund her pursuit of a master’s degree in childhood education.

Royal Farms #421 in Talbot County, located at 8480 Ocean Gateway, will receive a $1,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The $100,000 Crossword game, available since August, still offers numerous prizes, including 10 $10,000 prizes and others ranging from $10 to $1,000.
