A Massillon resident has won a substantial $50,000 prize in the Ohio Lottery’s Pick 5 game. The winning moment came from a $1 bet placed on the numbers 1-0-2-6-8 in the midday drawing on January 9, 2024.
After the application of mandatory state and federal taxes, which total 28 percent, the winner will receive a net amount of $36,000.
Pick 5, a widely played daily draw game in Ohio, conducts its drawings twice each day, at 12:29 pm and 7:29 pm, throughout the week.
