BALTIMORE, MD – A late-night emergency call in Baltimore led to a surprising discovery for local law enforcement. At around 2:19 a.m. this morning, officers rushed to the 2400 block of Gainsborough Court after receiving reports of a shooting.
Upon their arrival, they found a 19-year-old male with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to his ankle. Initial assumptions pointed towards a shooting incident. However, as the investigation unfolded, authorities determined that it was a case of an injured individual rather than a firearm offense.
The young man was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
