Police Investigating Shooting of 52-Year-Old in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA – A shooting incident in the early morning of Thursday, led to a 52-year-old black male suffering a gunshot injury.

Philadelphia Police responded to the 25XX block of Bancroft Street around 3:08 a.m. after receiving reports of the shooting.

The victim was hit in the buttocks and was promptly transported by police to Temple University Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

Although the scene was secured, no weapon was recovered, and no arrests have been made so far.

This incident is under active investigation by the Shooting Investigation Group of the Philadelphia Police Department.
