Holmdel, NJ – In an ambitious move to enhance road safety, the Holmdel Township Police Department, in collaboration with several neighboring police departments, has announced a county-wide traffic enforcement detail scheduled for February 21, from 3 PM to 7 PM, on State Highway 34.

This enforcement effort, involving Wall Township, Howell Township, Colts Neck Township, Marlboro Township, Aberdeen Township, and Matawan Borough Police Departments, aims to address critical traffic issues such as impaired driving, speeding, and distracted driving. The initiative is supported by grant funds from the NJ Division of Highway Traffic Safety, allowing for additional officer participation.

The overarching goal of this high-visibility enforcement is to reduce traffic fatalities, injuries, and crashes, aligning with the Department’s Goal Zero initiative to ensure safer roadways for the community.
