Ingram Borough Man Charged with Intentionally Striking Pedestrian in Castle Shannon

CASTLE SHANNON, PA – Charges have been filed against Stewart Walker, a resident of Ingram Borough, following an incident where he allegedly intentionally hit a pedestrian with his vehicle in Castle Shannon.

The incident occurred at 8:57 PM on March 26, in the 3500 block of Library Road. Castle Shannon Police responded to the scene after receiving reports of a vehicle colliding with a pedestrian. The 48-year-old male victim was found with a fractured foot and was quickly transported to a nearby hospital in stable condition.

Upon their arrival, Castle Shannon Police enlisted the help of the Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit to investigate the matter further. Investigations, bolstered by witness statements and surveillance footage, revealed that the collision was intentional, following an argument between Walker and the victim that started inside the vehicle and continued as the victim attempted to escape on foot.

Walker now faces several charges, including aggravated assault by vehicle, accidents involving death or personal injury, and recklessly endangering another person.
