Lacey Township Couple Arrested with Large Marijuana Haul

OCEAN COUNTY, NJ – Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer announced that John Vincentini, 64, and his wife, Karen Vincentini, 64, both residents of Lacey Township, will remain in Ocean County Jail pending their trial. The decision was made by the Honorable Kimarie Rahill, J.S.C., on April 2, 2024, following charges related to narcotics and weapons.

John Vincentini faces charges including manufacturing marijuana in a quantity of more than five pounds but less than 25 pounds, distribution of marijuana in a quantity of more than one ounce but less than five pounds, possession of marijuana, two counts of possession of an assault firearm, unlawful possession of a rifle, three counts of being a certain person not to possess a weapon, and financial facilitation. Karen Vincentini is charged with manufacturing marijuana in a quantity of more than five pounds but less than 25 pounds, possession of marijuana, two counts of possession of an assault firearm, and financial facilitation.

The couple has been in custody since March 21, 2024. The detention hearings for John and Karen Vincentini were conducted by Assistant Prosecutors Julie Peterson and Annie Wen, respectively.

The public is reminded that the charges against the Vincentinis are merely accusations and that they are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
